The purpose of the CHNWA is to:
· Uphold, protect and advance the interests of the CHNWA and its members.
· Initiate measures which will ensure high standards of nursing knowledge and practice by its members.
· General meetings are bi-monthly and the Committee organises guest speakers, educational updates and social functions during the year.

Membership is available for one year ($75) or two ($140) commencing from 1st July 2010. Associate membership is also available for students and the unwaged, $50 for one year only.
